Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has decided to redistribute the specific porfolios assigned to the four Deputy Prime Ministers, the government’s press office has announced as a political crises ithin the pro-European government continues to grow.
The government recently survived a no-confidence censure motion in parliament brought by the opposition the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS) as well as two non-affiliated lawmakers. A totol of 80 MPs voted in favour of the motion whilst 130 were against it.
The no-confidence motion come as a split in the pro-European coalition pits the largest ruling party Citizens for European Development of Bulgaria (GERB) against its junior coalition partners the Reformist Bloc (RB) and the two nationalist parties the Patriotic Front (PF) and the Alternative for Bulgarian Revival (ABV).
